We are excited to announce that our Gumnut campers are now fully Australian made!
"Proudly made right here in Victoria".
This was a inevitable step for the brand, and the quality speaks for itself. Not only supporting local jobs within the community, but demonstrating the quality that only an Aussie made product can.
Built for purpose, considering both function and form, the new model is a merge of both traditional teardrop shape and modern square back design!
With the aerodynamic profile we know and love, generous interior space and stylish kitchen zone. We have also factored in modern appliance fittings, combined with the attention to detail in both cabinetry, chassis, and body construction and our customers are loving it!
Why the Flat back door?
Balancing fashion and function, the key elements of the flat back just made sense. Now with the ability to fully utilise the roof storage with items such as kayak's and surfboards. Other key points included:

What's it made of?
The body construction now consists of composite panel sides and roof, giving a completely insulated cabin area. A thicker drawbar has been introduced to the chassis structure for enhanced durability and the cabinetry is hand crafted timber for a real natural appeal.
Weighing in at only 500kg Tare with 60kg tow ball makes camping in style accessible to smaller vehicles, hybrids and EV's.
Premium components and appliances are used throughout making the Gumnut camper one of the best on the market.
What's included?
The Gumnut camper now features a BMPro battery charger, 100amp/hr AGM battery with Anderson connection, neatly stored in the front mounted tool box. This provides a convenient power solution for running lights, fridges & fans, not to mention charging phones and tablets alike. Simply plug in a solar panel or into the grid to recharge.
An under carriage 55ltr water tank with electric pump and sink gives plenty of running water for either drinking, cooking, brushing teeth or doing the washing. Its almost cheating when camping in the outdoors can feel like home.
Not to mention a warm and cosy sleeping cabin complete with high density foam double bed mattress, secure lockable crim mesh doors/ side window, a roof vent fan and warm colour reading LED lights. Combined with fresh air from the bush it will probably be the best night sleep you will ever have.
